Peso Pluma

Peso Pluma is a Mexican singer and rapper known for his fusion of regional Mexican music and urban genres. Born Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija on June 15, 1999, in Zapopan, Jalisco, he began playing guitar and writing songs in his teens. He gained recognition with hits like “El Belicón” and “Ella Baila Sola,” the latter becoming the first regional Mexican song to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. His album Génesis (2023) debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and won a Grammy Award for Best Música Mexicana Album. Peso Pluma is currently Mexico's most-streamed artist of all time.
