Suede return with Autofiction: Expanded - a deluxe version of critically acclaimed album ‘Autofiction’, which debuted at #2 in the UK Albums Chart and marked Suede’s highest charting LP since 1999’s Head Music. Accompanying the original album on the special limited edition 3CD release are B-sides and additional album session material, as well as an ‘Autofiction’ live album recorded on their March 2023 UK tour.

Alongside the deluxe album release, Suede will play 3 special shows at Electric Brixton in December 2023, performing classics, hits and tracks from Autofiction. With this album, Suede’s aim was to create a record capturing the unique power and energy that exists between the band and their audience at gigs. A theme that has resonated since the day they announced the album, debuting the bold opening track ‘She Still Leads Me On’ live on stage at a surprise performance in Brussels that was live streamed for fans.

Heralded as "their best album in decades” by Uncut, “superb” by The Times, a “punchy, passionate comeback” in the Observer, “flamboyantly alive” by the Financial Times, “vital” by DIY Magazine, "essential and immediate" by AnOther Magazine, and "an album of the year and an album to treasure for life" by Louder Than War. MOJO praised "punk ferocity", Record Collector championed "revitalisation" whilst the NME confirmed Suede, “icons reborn”

As 2022 drew to a close Autofiction was praised anew, ranking as an essential album of the year in critics and fan lists alike. The Guardian applauded “guts, rage and euphoria” in their Top 50 Albums of 2022, The Times found "high drama and grainy art-rock" in their Best of 2022, MOJO "an urgent, heroic and gothically-attuned take on guitar rock" with Autofiction at #6 in their Top 75 Albums of 2022 list. High praise from The Sun, The Financial Times, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, Daily Record, Yorkshire Post, Morning Star, Record Collector, the Quietus, Louder Than War, Classic Pop, Uncut and more all followed, including the album in their coveted Best of Year lists.

Following two special Autofiction launch shows at London’s Electric Ballroom in October 2022 (both of which sold out in under 20 seconds upon announcement), in November 2022 Suede returned to America for the first time since 2011 for a co-headline tour with Manic Street Preachers, described as “epic” by SPIN and “in amazing form” by Brooklyn Vegan.

Two of the UK’s most influential and iconic rock bands, Suede and Manic Street Preachers bring their massive co-headline tour to the UK for summer 2024.  The tour, starting in Llangollen Wales on 28th June, takes in some of the UK and Ireland’s premier outdoor venues, including Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl and Cardiff Castle, before culminating at London’s Alexandra Palace Park on 18th July.
