Released in 1994, In the Hot Seat was the final studio album from Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Created during a challenging period for the band, the record leans into concise songwriting while retaining flashes of the technical ambition that defined their earlier work.

This 2CD 2017 remastered edition presents the original album with improved clarity and dynamic balance, sharpening the production and giving greater presence to the rhythm section and layered keyboards.

The second disc expands the release with bonus material from the era, including additional mixes and session recordings, offering a fuller picture of the band’s final studio phase. For collectors and dedicated fans, this edition stands as the definitive expanded version of ELP’s last album.
