Sisterworld: Expanded Edition 2CD

Release Date: 8 March, 2010

Liars - Angus Andrew, Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross - return in 2010 with their boldest and most exhilarating record to date. Sisterworld was written and recorded in Los Angeles by Liars and Tom Biller and is an invigorating summation of their career so far. Building on the back-to-basics approach employed by previous album, Liars (2007), Sisterworld is a dense art-pop thrill from start to finish.

The expanded 2CD version comes with a second CD of remixes and reinterpretations of all 11 tracks from artists including Thom Yorke, Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio), Bradford Cox (Deerhunter / Atlas Sound), Melvins, Alan Vega (Suicide), Chris & Cosey (Throbbing Gristle) and Blonde Redhead. The vinyl comes with a bonus CD of the full album.

Sisterworld is Liars' own space, completely devoid of influence, somewhereremote from the false promises and discarded dreams amassed in LA. In it Liars explore the underground support systems created to deal with loss of self to society.
