‘The Days Run Away’ was recorded with former Suede figurehead and producer Bernard Butler, and is the follow up to Frankie & The Heartstrings’ acclaimed top 40 debut album ‘Hunger’.
With ‘The Days Run Away’ the band once again deliver a collection of infectious indie pop songs, from the likes of anthemic singles ‘Nothing Our Way’ and ‘Everybody Looks Better (In The Right Light)’ through to album closer ‘Light That Breaks’, a collaboration with Let’s Buy Happiness vocalist Sarah Hall, which also features string arrangements from North Eastern compatriot Peter Brewis of Field Music.
