EDIT: The votes have been counted and the official Recordstore Album of the Year for 2025 is the decadent and divine sophomore album From The Pyre from The Last Dinner Party! The delectable follow-up to their stand-out debut Prelude To Ecstasy, From The Pyre served up a second helping of sweeping drama and baroque-pop brilliance. Darker and more elaborate than their debut, the album is filled with intricate soundscapes, lyrical ambition and accomplished songwriting. Stand-out tracks include "This Is The Killer Speaking," "Count The Ways," "Rifle," and "Inferno".
