Death metal rarely gets more blood-curdling than Hate Eternal. Hailing from the subgenre’s mecca of Florida, they made themselves kingpins of their scene at the turn of the millennium, building a legacy that persists to this day. As they set their eyes on following up their corrosive 1999 debut ‘Conquering The Throne’, Hate Eternal created for the 2002 follow-up a blackly fantastical narrative that offered a hellish twist on time-honoured fables of kings and gods. Coursing with adrenaline and dread, the band crafted a truly relentless body of work, thick with abyss-scraping gutturals, slamming riffs and drums that blast at practically supersonic speed. 25 years since original release, it’s time for their unparalleled brutality to be reaffirmed. First time on digipak CD. 12 years since a vinyl edition was available to worldwide retail.
