Talking with the Taxman About Poetry, Billy Bragg’s third album, originally released in 1986, gets a long-overdue limited-edition National Album Day vinyl reissue on classic black vinyl. Remastered from the original master tapes, this gatefold edition includes a bonus 7” single featuring “Walk Away Renee” and an etched album-cover B-side. Featuring Kirsty MacColl and Johnny Marr, the album was Bragg’s first Top 10 record and includes classics such as “Greetings To The New Brunette”, “Levi Stubbs’ Tears” and “There Is Power in a Union”.
